While studying at Sam Houston, Ms. Taylor appeared in several theatre productions, was a featured performer with the SHSU Dance Spectrum Company and the Raven Dance Project.  She was also a member of Alpha Psi Omega theatre fraternity, Chi Tau Epsilon dance honor society as well as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Danyale and her husband Lee are the parents of Leeyah Sheri’ Williams who is the center of their world.
